Rare Video Game Hunting: TI-99 4A, Atari Lynx, N64, Dreamcast

You never know what you’re going to find when out yardsaling, checking thrift stores, and rummaging through swap meets (flea markets).

This past weekend I got almost everything in the above photos from one vendor at an area swap meet! The guy had a ton of stuff. I had gotten to know him on previous weeks, so I asked if we could make a deal for the lot. He was happy to clear out his stuff, and the next thing I knew I was carrying one of the heaviest boxes of retro video game treasures out of that swap meet!

Talk about a jackpot find! I’d never even seen an Atari Lynx before in the flesh! Also in photos is a TI-99 4A computer, a bunch of great NES games, a Sega Dreamcast with Power Stone 2 inside!!, Sega CD games, N64s, etc. I’m still smiling as I go through my look like a kid with a pile of Halloween candy.

I’m slowly getting everything listed on eBay, so if you see something here you like check my eBay store for these rare retro video games, and it’ll be up within a week or two if it isn’t already.

As an update, a few of these items sold. Here are a few examples of such auctions:

“HUGE LOT TI-99 4A Computer + 12 Video Games Accessories” sold for $49.66
“BROKEN Atari Lynx Handheld Game System AC Adapter Case” sold for $26.63
“Sega Dreamcast System + Controller + VMU + Rumble Pack” sold for $39.95
